Does your child need a bit of extra help with a subject or an assignment? Is homework a battlefield in your house? At the point of despair?
Don’t despair, we have the antidote to despair: it’s hope.
At Hope 2508 we want to see children and young people nurtured, supported and given hope through help and guidance with their studies. Our Hope Community Tutoring is a high quality tutoring program for students from years 4 to 10.
Operating once a week during school terms, Hope Community Tutoring provides a safe and happy environment that supports the learning needs of students. All of our tutors are overseen by qualified and experienced teachers, who share a passion for seeing students doing their best and discovering joy in learning and application. Students can come for one-off help with an assignment, or for longer-term help with subjects they are having difficulty with.
Afternoon tea is provided and sessions are conducted in small tutor-to-student ratios to ensure the highest possible standard of tutoring. Our regular students gain the benefit of a stable, supported learning environment which allows them to concentrate on their weekly homework tasks.
At Hope 2508 we believe that hope is for everyone, that is why we do not charge for this program.
Hope Community Tutoring operates every Thursday afternoon during school terms from 5pm – 6pm at Hope Church, 3/23 Cemetery Road, Helensburgh.
