Evangelism is fun and easy

Has that been your experience? If not, we would like you to join the growing number of Christians who can genuinely say Evangelism is fun and easy.
Recently we were involved in a day of evangelism where Christians from all over the Illawarra from all different churches got to participate and witness evangelism done well and creatively. The overwhelming response on the day was evangelism can be fun and easy.

“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes…” – Romans 1:16 (NLT)

It is our experience that most Christians are excited about their faith and what God has done in their life and want others to experience what they have. But unfortunately, the fear of rejection or messing up keeps them from sharing what is so dear to their heart.
The Bible tells us that perfect love casts out all fear. While fear can cause people to be awkward, impersonal, and argumentative, love produces a sincere, gentle, and caring approach to people. People are drawn to sincere love and will often welcome prayer and respond to the gospel, repent, and follow Jesus.

Why evangelise

Jesus said, “Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near (That a relationship with Jesus is available to them). Heal the sick, raise the dead… Matthew 10:7-8. When the disciples were sent out their message was accompanied with power (miracles and healings). The same applies today. Evangelism is an opportunity to partner with God to see people healed and come into salvation. It is like show and tell. Show and tell them the love of God and demonstrate His power.
